The brothers home improvement store in Arnolds, Arkansas, was closed after two of its owners were charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
The Arnolds Police Department says the two men have been charged with first-degree murder and tampering with evidence.
The brothers store, located at 1035 East Broadway Road, was not located on the property where the shooting took place, police said.
Police say they have obtained a search warrant to conduct a criminal investigation into the brothers, who have not been named.
Arnolds Police Chief Jim Schindler says the brothers store was closed because of “multiple threats of violence and theft” made against the store and the police department.
Police do not believe the two are connected, according to Schindling.
The two have not yet been charged.
Police also say they received reports that two men were harassing two employees at the brothers home.
The two suspects were spotted at the home at about 6:30 p.m. on Friday and arrested shortly afterward, according a news release from the Arnolds police department on Monday.
Police say one of the suspects fled the scene in a vehicle.
The investigation into this incident remains active and the investigation is continuing.
