Posted May 01, 2018 11:01:53A diamond ring worth more than $20,000 was found on a man’s doorstep after he died from a heart attack in August.

Key points:A woman said she found a diamond on the man’s door in the early hours of Sunday after her husband died of a heart conditionIn an online post, the woman described the ring as a diamond and offered to give it to himThe woman, who asked to remain anonymous, said she got the ring from a friend in the hours after her wedding when she was visiting from Australia.

“I was just out on the walk with a friend of mine and I was on the way to the airport when I was just outside the house and I heard my husband’s phone ring.

I thought it was just him, but he said, ‘Oh my God, my wife is here’,” she said.”

He said ‘I just found a piece of the diamond on your door’.”

I said, well I think I will give it up to you.

I said, that’s fine, but I’m going to give you $20 and I’m not even going to pay you for it.

“The woman said the diamond was worth $5,000 and she would pay it to her friend if she could.”

Then I saw it was a little smaller than a quarter so I thought, okay, let’s do it,” she said in the video.”

We went and gave it to the neighbour and she handed it to me, she’s a diamond collector so she said, I’ll put it on your house.

“The next day I got a call from her and she said ‘Oh, my God you found a big diamond on my doorstep’.”

It was so big, I was like, ‘wow’.

“She said ‘well, we’ve just got to get it back to you, you can have it or I’ll give it back’.”

The woman was devastated to hear of her husband’s death but said she was also “really happy”.

“I’m so happy because I thought that this is a good man, a good person and a great father and I’ve got to give him that little bit of something,” she told ABC News.

“It’s a little bit special, but it’s all worth it.”

All I’m saying is, you need to go through with it, it’s just not worth it, and I will do it.
