New home improvements like a window cover, a bathtub, a wall mirror and a new carpet have all been installed by a homeowner in the central California town of Maris, according to a report by Bloomberg.
The homeowner in question is Maris City Manager and former city councilor Chris Mays.
The pilot program started in April and has been testing a wide range of home improvement projects to see how the changes are being implemented in Maris.
According to the Bloomberg report, the pilot program has shown that homeowners are happy with the improvements.
The most popular improvement was a window covering of a bedroom that has been installed on a two-bedroom home in Marais.
Mays told the publication that he expects the pilot will be extended to other houses and that other homes should see similar results.
